The Jenaer Bildungszentrum (JBZ) has stood for quality-oriented vocational education in Jena for over 35 years. As a modern educational service provider, we offer vocational orientation for young people, technical apprenticeships (e.g., precision optician, industrial mechanic, mechatronics technician, physics laboratory assistant, microtechnologist) as well as further training in the fields of optics, metal, software, languages, and competencies. The offers can be explored via our website, events can be attended, and contact can be made for individual consultation. Compliance Status with Requirements<\/h2>

We are committed to digital accessibility and pursue the goal of designing our website so that it is fully accessible to all users. Therefore, we are continuously working to fully implement the requirements of the Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) and the Accessibility Strengthening Act Ordinance (BFSGV). <\/p>

To improve accessibility, the Ally Accessibility Plugin by Elementor was used, which analyzes existing barriers and fixes them in a targeted manner. The following measures were implemented: <\/p>\r\n

ARIA Attributes & Screen Reader Compatibility: Duplicate ARIA IDs were identified and resolved. The hierarchy of headings was adjusted so that screen reader users can grasp the content in a logically correct order without affecting the visual design of the website. <\/p>\r\n

Keyboard Accessibility & Navigation: The website is fundamentally navigable via keyboard.<\/p>\r\n

Link Purpose & Labels: Clear and contextually understandable link texts were added where possible. For links such as mailto or tel links, the purpose is immediately recognizable to the user through the visible context (e.g., display of the email address or phone number), which is why additional redundant text labeling was omitted, as this would impair the visual appearance. <\/p>\r\n

Principle of Proportionality: The implementation of accessibility measures follows a benefit-harm principle. Measures that would disproportionately impair the user experience of the majority of visitors were deliberately not implemented. This applies in particular to color contrasts that belong to the corporate identity (brand colors, especially white\/orange) of the Jenaer Bildungszentrum and are therefore retained. <\/p>\r\n\r\n
