In addition, you will visit companies such as ZEISS and JENOPTIK. This will help you better assess which profession might be right for you.

Our Offer for Students

The Jena Education Center’s Career Info Camp is a two-day holiday program for career orientation aimed at students from grade 8 onwards. The goal is to provide young people with realistic insights into technical apprenticeships and support them early on in their career decision-making process.

During the two-day Career Info Camp, you will gain hands-on insights into various technical apprenticeships. You will work in the Jena Education Center workshops, try out typical tasks yourself, and get to know basic workflows.

In addition, you will visit companies like ZEISS and JENOPTIK and speak directly with apprentices. You will learn about the requirements of the professions and what everyday work actually looks like.

This provides you with a solid foundation for your future career or training decisions.

By the end of the Career Info Camp, you will not only have gathered new impressions but also gained concrete experience. You will have a better understanding of which tasks suit you, what interests you, and the requirements of technical apprenticeships.
