Supplementary training courses are funded offers that support companies in conveying training content according to the training framework plan, which they are usually unable to provide themselves due to their specific operational situation. They are an essential component of high-quality vocational training and support apprentices in acquiring important technical and practical skills.
The IHK has created a catalog for inter-company supplementary training courses for every occupational group. The courses are offered and coordinated via the East Thuringian Training Association (OAV e. V.).
Depending on the year of apprenticeship and provided that the funding requirements are met, a different number of days can be used for courses:
- 1st year of apprenticeship = 55 working days
- 2nd year of apprenticeship = 40 working days
- 3rd year of apprenticeship = 20 working days
- 4th year of apprenticeship = 5 working days
The courses can also be booked on a self-payer basis if your company does not meet the requirements for funding.
Following individual consultation, further courses and content specifically designed for your company can also be carried out.
