Trial Apprenticeship 2025

Summer 2025 – 9 students use their vacation to spend a week learning about professions in precision optics/glass and electronics/mechatronics. Under the guidance of their trainers, apprentices from Jenoptik, Zeiss, Airbus, and Stadtwerke/Nahverkehr prepared exciting projects and information. Thanks to the great commitment of the apprentices and many interested questions from the students, it is clear at the end of the week: It was a successful week. The students praised the intensive, individual supervision as well as a successful balance between practice and theory with the diverse opportunities in optics.

It was the first time for us to be allowed to have such great responsibility and we really enjoyed working together toward a goal (…) We as apprentices, who are now entering the 2nd year of training, were able to gain a lot of experience and are glad that we were given such an opportunity.”
