For the teaching of fundamental knowledge in optics and the production of simple optical components as part of vocational orientation for students, we are seeking an instructor for precision optics (m/f/d) on a part-time basis. At Jenaer Bildungszentrum, you will guide students from various grade levels and school types through their first hands-on experiences in precision optics and support them in developing technical interest and practical skills.
You will teach fundamental theoretical knowledge and practical skills in spherical and plane optics to students from various grade levels and school types. In doing so, you will introduce participants to the processing and production of simple optical components in an age-appropriate manner. Additionally, you will consistently implement the requirements of occupational health, safety, and environmental protection.
You hold a completed apprenticeship as a precision optician or have relevant professional experience in the field of precision optics. The instructor aptitude examination according to AEVO is required. Pedagogical skill, empathy, as well as strong communication and assertiveness characterize you, along with commitment and enthusiasm for working with young people.
