Career as an Instructor at the Jena Training Center

To strengthen our team of trainers, we are looking for a Trainer in Glass Technology (m/f/d).
At the Jena Training Centre, you will not only impart specialist knowledge, but also actively support apprentices on their path to a professional future – practical, personal and sustainable.

Your Responsibilities:

You will teach practical and theoretical knowledge and skills in accordance with the training framework plan for the apprenticeship occupation of Process Mechanic for Glass Technology. In doing so, you will tailor the learning content to operational and school requirements and continuously develop it further. You will ensure the quality of the instruction provided and actively contribute to the further development of training processes. In addition, you will provide pedagogical support and guidance to the apprentices, organise and plan day-to-day training in the workshop, participate in examination boards and prepare training documents in compliance with all relevant regulations.

Your Profile:

You have successfully completed training in the field of glass technology or have a comparable qualification. Ideally, you have passed the trainer aptitude examination in accordance with AEVO or are willing to obtain it promptly. You have pedagogical skills, social competence and enjoy working with young people. Presentation and facilitation skills, organisational skills as well as leadership and teamwork skills characterise you, as do initiative, a sense of responsibility and an independent way of working. Professional experience in the field of glass technology is desirable.
